Raising the hand when greeting at a distance
If a Muslim extends the [greeting of] salaam [‘alaykum] to his [Muslim] brother with a sign [with his hand] – whilst moving his lips, should the response [to him] be with the right or left hand if he is at a distance?
Wearing trousers, jeans, tracksuits and ties
What is the ruling of wearing trousers, jeans, tracksuits and [neck] ties? And is wearing them considered resembling [the disbelievers]?
Using the telephone at work for personal calls
What is the ruling about the one who took something from his [place of] work – whether it was a little or alot; and likewise, using the work telephone [for personal calls]?
