If you see a person upon truth, and another upon falsehood, then you must aid the truth and warn against the falsehood, otherwise [it is as if] you are dead; you do not know [that which is] good and do not detest [that which is] evil.

Seeking aid with khashyah in Allaah
It used to be said the believer has never sought aid in his religion with [anything] like khashyah of Allaah.
The true essence of khashyah
Indeed, khashyah is to have fear and apprehension of Allaah, such that your fear and apprehension of Him is a cause of preventing you from sin; that there is [the true essence of] khashyah.
From that which is strange in this time of ours
From that which is strange in these times [of ours today], is that between you and another is a relationship, the sincerity of which is built upon fond memories – the size of mountains!
Obedience to Allaah alone
There is no Islaam except with unity, and there is no unity except with leadership, and there is no leadership except with obedience [to Allaah (‘Azza wa Jall)].
When the sins decrease
[Regarding] the heart, when it’s sins decrease, it’s tears will hasten.
Defended the Sahaabah, then died and was buried alongside the Sahaabah
Shaykh Ihsaan Ilaahee Zaheer spent his life defending the Sahaabah; when he was injured by the bomb explosion, he was brought to Saudi Arabia for treatment and died here. He was buried in al-Baqee’ [graveyard – in Madeenah] along with the Sahaabah.
Cried until he was overcome with tears
…he would cry until he was overcome with tears.
Two dark lines
There were two dark lines on the face of ‘Umar ibn al-Khattaab, due to weeping.
Protecting his photographic memory
Shaykh Ihsaan Ilaahee Zaheer informed me about our Shaykh, Muhammad al-Gondalwi that he would not read the newspapers or magazines – so as not to [inadvertantly] memorise them! That is because if he were to read anything, he was [instantly] able to memorise it.
