The jurist (الفقيه) is one who fears Allaah, even if his knowledge is little. And the ignoramus* (الجاهل) is one who sins against [the command of] Allaah, even if his knowledge is a lot.

Presuming good of Allaah and reliance upon Him

The burden borne by teachers
al-Qaadhee Husayn رحمه الله narrates regarding al-Qaffaal رحمه الله – his teacher, that many-a-time he would become tearful whilst teaching; he would then raise his head and say
