Crying because of the fear of Allaah

When Muhammad ibn al-Munkadir رحمه الله wept, he would wipe his tears over his face and beard, saying:

‘It reached me that the Fire will not harm the area which has been touched by the tears [which flowed due to the fear of Allaah].’
