Mahmood ibn Salaamah at-Taajir al-Harraanee رحمه الله said:

al-Haafiz ‘Abdul-Ghanee was coming to visit me in Asfahaan, and he would only sleep a little at night, instead [choosing to] pray, read [Qur.aan] and weep.
