Likewise, regarding the [first] ten days [of Dhul-Hijjah], many people fast from their beginning through to [and not including] the tenth day; so is there any [authentic] proof to confirm that [practice]?
The questioner is saying [O] Noble Shaykh, in [a few] days, we will be welcoming [the arrival of] the ten days of Dhul-Hijjah, so what is your advice for everyone to take advantage of them?
Fear Allaah (Ta’aala), and know that you are approaching ten blessed [days]; they are [the first] ten [days] of Dhul-Hijjah…
