By Allaah! If Ahlus-Sunnah knew their beloved [Prophet] ﷺ loved his birthday [to] be celebrated, none would have preceded them in it; they would celebrate it every day!

During the time of the Messenger of Allaah ﷺ there were two brothers who embraced Islaam together.
Authenticity of al-Mi’raaj
There are some people who say that the Messenger ﷺ was taken on the Night Journey (al-Israa) but was not taken on the Ascension (al-Mi’raaj) to the heavens.
Is 27th Rajab the night of al-Israa wal-Mi’raaj?
May Allaah be good to you. Tonight is the 27th night [of Rajab], and there are those who believe this night is the night of al-Israa wal-Mi’raaj (the night journey and ascension).
The Israa and Mi’raaj – was it all a dream?
Did the israa and mi’raaj of the Messenger ﷺ take place in his dream, or was it while he was awake?
The greatest loss
We left Yemen [with the intention of] making hijrah – wanting [to meet] the Messenger of Allaah ﷺ.
How about of those other than them?!
Neither Allaah nor His Messenger commanded [us] to observe the days of misfortune for the Prophets and their deaths as a period of mourning – so how about of those other than them?!
The national anthem
It is not permissible for the Muslim to stand out of respect for any national flag or salute.
Conveying knowledge
After [the rank of] Prophethood, I do not know of a rank better than conveying knowledge.
A caution against books of the people of desires and innovations
I asked Abu ‘Abdillaah – meaning Ahmad ibn Hanbal – about al-Karaabeesee and what he came with. So he had a look of anger on his face, and said
