Question: Whoever utters the [legislated] morning and evening supplications, and then blows into his cupped hands, and Thereafter wipes his hands over his body - is doing this something which is legislated?
Response: No, [blowing into his cupped hands and Thereafter wiping them over his body] is specific to when [uttering the legislated supplications just before] sleeping; this is what the Prophet ﷺ did when he was about to sleep [transmitted by al-Bukhaaree no.5017]. As for [blowing into his cupped hands and Thereafter wiping them over his body after uttering] the [legislated] morning and evening supplications, then I do not know that he ﷺ did that.
