‘Abdul-Kareem said:
Talq ibn Habeeb would not go into rukoo’ once he started Soorah al-Baqarah (page 2) until he reached (Soorah) al-‘Ankaboot (page 396), and he would say:
‘I yearn to remain standing [in prayer] until my body aches.’
