We arrived in ash-Shaam along with ‘Umar [ibn al-Khattaab] رضي الله عنه, and [when] Bilaal [ibn Rabaah] رضي الله عنه called the adhaan, the people remembered the Prophet ﷺ, and [during our stay] there was no day that anyone wept more than him (Bilaal رضي الله عنه).
