I love you for the sake of Allaah

Reference: Siyar A’laam an-Nubalaa v1 p443

Mu’aadh ibn Jabal رحمه الله said:

The Prophet ﷺ met me and said:

«O Mu’aadh, indeed I love you for the Sake of Allaah.»

[And] I replied: ‘And I swear by Allaah O Messenger of Allaah, I [too] love you for the Sake of Allaah.’ He ﷺ then said:

«Shall I teach you [some] words which you can recite after every prayer? [And they are]:
رَبِّ أَعِنِّي عَلَى ذِكْرِكَ وَ شُكْرِكَ وَ حُسْنِ عِبَادَتِكَ
O my Lord! Aid me in Your remembrance, and Your gratitude and the perfection of Your worship.»
