Reference: al-Ibaanah libni Battah – p756
The companion Hudhayfah ibn al-Yamaan (رضي الله عنه) said:
Beware of tribulations (فِتَن), for no one who exposes himself to them is safe. By Allaah, no one involves himself in them except that they sweep him away, just as a flood sweeps away debris.
