Hudhayfah ibn al-Yamaan رضي الله عنه was asked: ‘Which of the trials (fitan) is the most severe?’ He replied: ‘That good and evil are [both] presented to you, and you do not know which one to choose.’

I often sit in the company of other women, and often is the case that there is backbiting in these gatherings.
