Abu Zayd al-Marwazee, the jurist said:
I was asleep [by the Ka’bah] between the [al-Hajr al-Aswad] corner and the Maqaam [Ibraaheem], and I saw the Prophet ﷺ, and he said to me:
‘O Abu Zayd, until when will you [continue to] study the Book of ash-Shaafi’ee, and [yet] you do not study my book?’
So I said: ‘O Messenger of Allaah, what is your book?’
He said: ‘[It is the al-]Jaami’ [as-Saheeh] of Muhammad ibn Ismaa’eel [al-Bukhaaree].’
