Question: What is the ruling regarding keeping photographs for memory’s sake?
Response: Keeping photographs for memory’s sake is prohibited, because the Prophet ﷺ said that the angels do not enter a house in which there are pictures; And this is indicative of the prohibition of keeping photographs in houses, and Allaah is the One from Whom assistance is sought.
