Many people habituate their child[ren] to keep away from undesirable things by using the word[s] ‘[That’s] shameful; don’t let the people see you [do that].

Origin of the book al-Mulakhkhas al-Fiqhee
The origin of [the book] al-Mulakhkhas al-Fiqhee [الملخص الفقهي] were lessons I delivered on the radio [they were] lessons on [the subject of] fiqh.
The condition of many of the people
If you pondered over the condition of many of the people, you will find them looking for their right over Allaah, and not looking at Allaah’s right over them.
Remember, and be grateful for all your blessings
And this is [the case with] most of the blessings; in the main, they are not appreciated until they are lost.
Time for friends, but not for prayer?
The one who hastens in praying quickly – at a pace void of being calm and at ease, then his prayer is invalid; [whether that is] the obligatory [prayer] or the voluntary [prayer].
So-and-so is speaking about you
So those who have [sound] knowledge of the religion of Allaah do not pay any attention to fitnah – even if the people created a drama [over it].
O my Lord! My sins are great in number
In the biography of the Khaleefah, ‘Abdul-Malik ibn Marwaan, [it states]: He delivered an eloquent khutbah, and then [abruptly] stopped and began weeping profusely. Then, he said
“Allaah will soon honour me with something great”
From that which we anticipate good for our brother, [Shaykh] Dr.
Forgive your Muslim brother
Forgive your brother; it will not benefit you that Allaah punishes your Muslim brother because of you.
Remain steadfast and pursue the path
Some students of knowledge have a weakness [in their ability] to memorise, and the weakness may be severe.
