Saying: “I created this”

Question: If I was to make a cup for example, is it possible for me to say “I created it”, or would this be [regarded as] infringing in the affairs of the Attributes of Allaah and His Names?

Response: Don’t say: “I created it”, because the [affair of the] creation of things is from that which is specific to Allaah Ta’aala; This is based upon His statement:

{Allaah is the Creator of all things}, soorah az-Zumar, aayah 62

It is, however, better to say: “I made it, with the Permission of Allaah, and His Might and His Power”, or [simply] say, “I did this”.
