So what do you think of he who falls into repulsion of the truth and finding fault with its people?!
So your brother is the one who [sincerely] advises you, reminds you, and warns you [against pursuing the path to desctruction].
Either he accepts the truth and adheres to it – then he is a wise person…
And sadly, now you find some of the brothers refuting their brothers more than they refute the atheists – whose disbelief is apparent.
If you see a person upon truth, and another upon falsehood, then you must aid the truth and warn against the falsehood, otherwise [it is as if] you are dead; you do not know [that which is] good and do not detest [that which is] evil.
And look at the wisdom of Allaah and His love for the coming together of the hearts [of the believers].
…he would cry until he was overcome with tears.
My close friend [Muhammad] ﷺ prescribed me with [the following] seven…
I only [ever] lied once. ‘Umar asked me about a garment, [and] how much I got it for. So I [lied and] dropped its price by two thirds.
When a man wants to rectify matters between two disputing parties, is he allowed to lie and swear an oath in the name of Allaah, bearing in mind his intention is only to make islaah – so is this permissible?
