The reality of success
The genuinely successful one is he who is blessed with knowing the truth, and adhering to it and loving it. And the deprived one is he who is denied all of that.
A true brother
So your brother is the one who [sincerely] advises you, reminds you, and warns you [against pursuing the path to destruction].
People are of three types
People are of three types: Either he accepts the truth and adheres to it – then he is a wise person.
Jealousy and hatred towards your brothers
And sadly, now you find some of the brothers refuting their brothers more than they refute the atheists – whose disbelief is apparent.
You must aid the truth
If you see a person upon truth, and another upon falsehood, then you must aid the truth and warn against the falsehood, otherwise [it is as if] you are dead; you do not know [that which is] good and…
Reflect at the wisdom of Allaah
And look at the wisdom of Allaah and His love for the coming together of the hearts [of the believers].
Cried until he was overcome with tears
When ‘Abdullaah ibn ‘Umar رضي الله عنهما would recite [the aayah]
He prescribed me with seven
My close friend [Muhammad] ﷺ prescribed me with [the following] seven
How many times have you lied?
I only [ever] lied once. ‘Umar asked me about a garment, [and] how much I paid for it. So I [lied, and] dropped its price by two thirds.
