Question: Is there anything [authentically] reported regarding sending prayers and salutations upon the Prophet ﷺ on the night of Jumu'ah?
Response: The Prophet ﷺ commanded the Muslim to increase in sending prayers and salutations upon the Prophet ﷺ on the day of jumu'ah [transmitted by Abu Daawood no.1047, an-Nasaa.ee no.1374 and Ibn Maajah no.1085; graded saheeh by al-Albaanee]. In addition, the matter of increasing in sending prayers and salutations upon the Prophet ﷺ at all times is [something which is] legislated.
