Such was Ibraheem an-Nakha’ee, that when someone sought him at home, and he did not want (disliked) to go out to meet him, he would tell his slave girl to say to him:

‘Ask for him (seek him out) at the masjid’, and don’t say to him: ‘He is not here, so as not to lie’
