Sincere and genuine reliance upon Allaah alone

Reference: Siyar A’laam an-Nubalaa v4 p21

Sa’eed ibn Jubayr رحمه الله said:

at-Tawakkul (having a good expectation and trust) upon Allaah [alone] is the culmination of [one’s] eemaan.
And he would supplicate [to Allaah, saying]:

الَّلهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ صِدْقَ التَّوَكُّلِ عَلَيْكَ وَ حُسْنَ الظَّنِّ بِكَ

O Allaah, indeed I ask You [to bless me with] sincere reliance upon You and a good expectation of You.
