The act of the despicable
Do not convey to your friend that which will hurt him and not benefit him to know, [for indeed] this is the act of the despicable.
The days are of two types
The days are [of] two [types]: A ‘good’ day, so be thankful [to Allaah for it]; and a ‘bad’ day, so be patient [until Allaah eases your hardship and relieves you of your burden].
Keeping good company
Some of them said: [From the harmful effects of] companionship with those who are bad, [is that it] will nurture evil suspicion [within you] towards those who are righteous.

From the Mercy of Allaah upon His worshippers is that a good deed wipes away a bad deed, and a bad deed does not wipe away a good deed.

Conceal your good deeds, just as you conceal your bad deeds.
Essential attributes of the Scholar
The scholar is not he who [just] knows about the good and the bad, rather, the scholar is he who knows about the good and adheres to it, [just as he] knows of the bad and refrains from it.
I will not say anything good or bad about a person
I will not say anything good or bad about a person until I see how he ends, after something I heard from the Prophet ﷺ. It was said: ‘What did you hear?’ He said
