Cried until he was overcome with tears

Naafi’ رحمه الله said:

When ‘Abdullaah ibn ‘Umar رضي الله عنهما would recite [the aayah]:

{Has the time not come for those who have believed that their hearts should become humbly submissive at the remembrance of Allaah and what has come down of the truth?}, al-Hadeed 27:16

…he would cry until he was overcome with tears.
