And this is [the case with] most of the blessings; in the main, they are not appreciated until they are lost.

Time for friends, but not for prayer?
The one who hastens in praying quickly - at a pace void of being calm and at ease, then his prayer is invalid; [whether that is] the obligatory [prayer] or the voluntary [prayer].
The importance of prayer
The covenant that distinguishes between us and them (the disbelievers) is the prayer; so whoever leaves it has disbelieved (become a kaafir) [at-Tirmidhee, an-Nasaa.ee, Ahmad, al-Haakim]
Earthquakes are increasing
Earthquakes are increasing [in frequency]. [And] زَلَازِل is the plural of زِلْزَال – and refuge is sought in Allaah [from their harm]. And it is the movement of the earth.
Ask Allaah to make you firm upon Islaam
It has been authentically reported from 'Abdullaah ibn 'Umar رضي الله عنهما - while he was upon as-Safaa, supplicating - that he said: 'O Allaah! You have indeed said
The Wise Imaam

Striving in the pursuit of people's satisfaction
