قال أحدُ السَّلف :

"صَلُّوا ولو ركْعتَين في جَوفِ اللَّيل فإنَّ الصَّلاة فِي جَوف اللَّيل تَحُطُّ الأَوزَارَ و هي مِن أَشرفِ أعمَال الصَّالحين ."

One of the Salaf said:

Pray, even if only two rak’ahs, in the depth of the night; for indeed, prayer in the depth of the night sheds away sins and is among the most noble deeds of the righteous.
