Question: [Regarding the prayer], is it sufficient to just purify the area of the prostration, or is it imperative the entire area where one is going to pray needs to be purified?
Response: [What is required is] the purification of the [entire] area where he will sit and prostrate upon. As for what is beyond the area where he is to pray, then that is not necessary.
