When free time is combined with ignorance of the rulings of the Sharee’ah, then it produces the likes of this prohibited deed.

Tattooing is from amongst the major sins [as] reported on the authority of ‘Abdullaah ibn Mas’ood رضي الله عنه who said:

Allaah has cursed the women who do tattoos and the women who have this done, the women who pluck their eyebrows, and the women who file their teeth for the purpose of beautification and change the creation of Allaah. [al-Bukhaaree no.4604 and Muslim no.2125]
