If a man has proposed to a woman [by way of her walee], is it then permissible for him to speak to her on the telephone?
I am a housewife, and don’t [go out to] work; most of my time is spent with looking after my children and tending to my husband. And whilst I am in the kitchen, I listen to the [recitation of the] Qur.aan; so am I rewarded for any of that?
I am experiencing a problem with my wife. Two years after my father passed away, I got married, and [after his death], it was I who had assumed the responsibility for my mother and infant brothers – and after Allaah (‘Azza wa Jall) I have been the only provider for them.
Is it permissible for a person to supplicate for himself that he is blessed with marriage to a [particular] young lady – and [whilst supplicating] he mentions her name in his heart?
If a person had amassed immense wealth made up of trading in haraam, and then repented to Allaah [from that], is it then permissible for him to perform hajj using this wealth, or donate to charity from it, or [even] get married or build a masjid using it?
