Question: How should the Muslim engage in inviting [da’wah] to Islaam? And what is the best way to undertake da’wah [activities]?

Response: The Muslim invites to Islaam by travelling around and talking to the people and preaching to them. As for [engaging in] general da’wah [activities], then this is done in the masaajid, schools and places of gathering.

And the best approach to da’wah is to begin with the Book of Allaah and then the example of His Messenger ﷺ, as he ﷺ said:

«Indeed, the best of speech is the Book of Allaah, and the best of guidance is the guidance of Muhammad ﷺ» – transmitted by al-Bukhaaree and Muslim
