Some [people] infer that it is permissible to verbalise the intention [using as evidence] the Prophet’s (sal-Allaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) words “I am fasting” – when he did not find anything to eat?
Is there any expiation for the one who has died whilst having prayers and fasts which he had not made up for? And what [form does this] expiation [take]?
What is the expiation for not fasting during Ramadhaan without a[n Islaamically acceptable] reason? [It’s just that] he did not fast for three days, so if you could explain how much exactly that would be.
