Shaykh Hammaad al-Ansaaree رحمه الله said:

Indeed, there are 4 matters related to shaving off the beard, and they are:

1) Disobedience to Allaah عز و جل and His Messenger ﷺ

2) Changing the creation of Allaah

3) Resembling the disbelievers

4) Resembling women
