When it’s too late to return to make amends

Ibraaheem ibn Bashshaar رحمه الله said:

The aayah in al-An’aam [6:27] at which ‘Ali ibn al-Fudhayl died was:

{If you could but see when they are made to stand before the Fire and will say, “Oh, would that we could be returned [to life on earth]…”}

…and [it was] at this point [that] he died, and I was amongst those who prayed the [funeral] prayer over him, رحمه الله.
