Shaykh ‘Abdur-Razzaaq al-‘Abbaad said:

Rather, the believer indeed finds in himself and his heart [a feeling of] pleasure when he abandons [something which is] prohibited, [particularly] when all the factors to facilitate that sin are there – yet he abandons it for [the pleasure of] Allaah.

So the act of abandoning [something which is prohibited] is followed by [a feeling of] pleasure in himself, [something] which is not experienced by the one who commits that sin.

And the [feeling of] sweetness in his heart is not experienced by the one who commits that sin.

And this [feeling of] pleasure and sweetness which he experiences, is something which Allaah (Subhaanahu wa Ta’aala) places in the heart of the obedient [to Allaah] who turn away from disobeying Allaah (Subhaanahu wa Ta’aala) seeking His pleasure [alone].
