And the Raafidhah (Shee’ah) oppose the truth in that which relates to the purification of the foot from [the following] three viewpoints:

  1. They do not wash the foot, rather [suffice with just] wiping it;
  2. They pray [their salaah] with this [deficient] purification [of] just [wiping] the top of the foot;
  3. They do not wipe over the leather socks (khuff); they are of the opinion that it is prohibited [to do so], despite the fact that amongst those who have narrated [on the authority of the Prophet ﷺ] about the [validity of] wiping over the leather socks was ‘Alee ibn Abee Taalib (radhi-yAllaahu ‘anhu) – who is the imaam of their imaams!
