Mansoor ibn al-Mu’tamar would pray on the roof of his house. So when he died, the little boy [next door] said to his mother:

O mother, I do not see that [tree]trunk which used to be on the roof of that family’s house.

She replied:

O my son, that was not a [tree]trunk, that was Mansoor who [only] recently passed away.
